United Arab Emirates e-Visa

Application Types:

• Single Application: For one applicant only.
• Family Application: For family members applying together.
• Group Application: For multiple applicants applying together.

Each applicant may have different personal, nationality, passport, and travel details. Therefore, each application is reviewed and processed individually.

How to Apply:

Select the suitable application type, enter the primary contact details, and complete the applicant’s information. After submitting the first application, you can add other applicants using the same contact details for easier tracking and communication.

Valid Passport

• A clear, scanned copy of the first and last page of your passport.

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the UAE.

Passport-Sized Photograph

• A recent personal photo- passport-sized photograph (taken within the last 6 months) and in color.

National ID

• Nationals of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran must also provide a copy of their National ID along with the passport.

GCC Resident Visa Applicants .who are residents of GCC countries must provide:

• • A copy of their passport.
  • A recent passport-sized photograph.
  • A clear copy of both sides of the residency permit (a mobile phone capture is acceptable if a scanned copy is unavailable).
  • The date of issuance and expiry of the residency permit.
  • Applicant’s mother’s name.
  • Applicant’s address in the country of residence.

GCC Citizen Dependent Visa Applicants: Accompany of GCC citizens must provide:

• A copy of their passport.
• A recent passport-sized photograph.
• A clear copy of both sides of the residency permit (a mobile phone capture is acceptable).
• The date of issuance and expiry of the residency permit.
• The accompanying mother’s name.
• A copy of the sponsor’s ID or passport.
• The accompanying  address in the country of residence

For Tourist Visas:
You must enter the UAE within 60 days from the date of visa issuance.

For GCC Residents Entry Permits:
You must enter the UAE within 30 days from the date of visa issuance.

If you do not enter within the specified time, your visa will automatically expire, and you will need to apply for a new one.

Yes,Visas can be extended  for 30 extra days without leaving the country. Renewal must be done before the visa or extension expires.

*If you applied through the Goev.ae portal, you can extend directly there. If you used a third-party service, you’ll need to request the extension from them.

Visa fees are non-refundable if your application is rejected, unless you purchased Visa Refusal Coverage.

With this coverage, you receive a full refund in case of denial (excluding security-related refusals).

0nce accepted, visa applications require a minimum of 1 – 2 working days to process and in some cases the it might take longer.

If you remain in the United Arab Emirates after your visa has expired:

Fines: A daily fine will be imposed for each day you overstay.
Additional Fees: Extra charges may apply when settling your immigration status.
Legal Consequences: Prolonged overstay may lead to legal penalties, travel bans, or difficulties obtaining visas in the future.
To avoid these issues, you should:

Extend Your Visa: Apply for an extension before it expires if you are eligible.
Exit the Country: Leave before the visa expiry date to avoid penalties.

Certain nationalities or applicants may be required to pay a refundable security deposit when submitting a visa application, subject to the Terms and Conditions. This deposit is separate from the visa fee and service charges, and its amount may vary depending on the application and verification requirements.

The security deposit may be requested for refund after the beneficiary leaves the country before the permitted stay expires, or after legally changing their visa status from a visit or tourist visa to a valid residence or work permit. Official documents confirming departure or the change of status must be provided.

The refund is subject to there being no visa, immigration, residency, or overstay violations. Where fines, violations, or other documented costs arise due to the beneficiary’s non-compliance, the actual amounts may be deducted from the security deposit. Any remaining balance, if applicable, will be refunded after the submitted documents have been reviewed and verified.

In certain cases, we may request additional information or documents to verify the payment, particularly when the applicant’s details differ from the payment details or when the applicant is not the cardholder.

This verification is carried out to:

• Confirm the cardholder’s identity and authorization.
• Protect the cardholder and the applicant from unauthorized card use.
• Reduce payment fraud and invalid payment disputes.
• Confirm the legitimacy of the payment before processing or submitting the application to the relevant authority.

Verification may include:

• A copy of the cardholder’s valid ID or passport.
• A copy of the payment card showing the cardholder’s name and only the last four digits, with all other card numbers, the expiry date, and the security code concealed.
• Electronic authorization by email confirming the applicant’s name, application number, amount paid, and the cardholder’s approval to pay the visa and related service fees.

A verification email may be sent to the cardholder’s email address. The cardholder must confirm authorization of the payment before the application can be processed.

In certain cases, a refundable security deposit may also be required as an additional security measure, subject to the Terms and Conditions.

Yes. In certain cases, the applicant may be contacted to provide additional information or documents based on the application review or requirements from the relevant authority.

The requested documents may include, depending on the application:

• A bank statement.
• A salary certificate or proof of employment.
• Documents explaining the purpose of the visit.
• Any other documents required by the relevant authority to complete the application review.

The document request will be sent to the email address or WhatsApp number registered in the application. The required documents must be submitted within the specified timeframe to avoid delays  of the application

Yes, applicants are encouraged to upload any available supporting documents in the Supporting Documents section, especially if they help explain the purpose of travel or the applicant’s circumstances.

Supporting documents may include:

• Previous travel visas.
• Invitations to exhibitions or events.
• A letter from a university or educational institution.
• Children’s birth certificates when travelling with their mother without the father.
• A marriage certificate when travelling with a spouse who is a GCC national.
• A commercial registration or business-related documents.
• A bank statement.
• An invitation to attend or participate in an exhibition or conference.
• Proof of property ownership in the UAE.
• Any other documents relevant to the application or purpose of the visit.
